A Black Rose Burial - An Awakening of Revenants

I have absolutely no clue as to why A Black Rose Burial are without a label. This is one of the best EP’s I have heard in a long time. This is five tracks (6 including the intro) of beautiful tech/spaz/grind/death metal. Call it what you want out of those genres but this is amazing. Think of Job For a Cowboy without as much gutteral vocals meets the technicality of Psyopus meets the samples of Killwhitneydead. This EP is put together flawlessly. The guitar work is great from the jazz hooks to the death metal riffs. The drum work couldn’t be more solid. Plenty of blast beats and a few dancing breakdowns. For a band without a label, the production of this EP is of great quality. All five tracks are brutal. Check it out.
