Anorexia Nervosa - The Redemption Process (Tokuma)

This is the fourth full length album from this fine group of blasphemous French black metallers. I would also like to add that this is the only good thing to come out of this horrid country. That said, this album is a melodic black metal masterpiece. This band is way under rated and deserves way more publicity than they get. Everything on this album is picture perfect from beautiful haunting synths to brutal breakdowns, superb double bass kicks, melodic guitar wails and super speed punishing chords, and supreme throat wrenching screeching that will leave your ears bleeding. There is not a single thing wrong with this album. The production is crystal clear. Every song is unique and different from each other and each track clocks in at over five minutes a piece. All I have to say is that after listening to this, all you want is more. I can’t wait until they put out a new album and that this is what black metal should sound like and all others should be judged by this.
