Apiary - Lost in Focus (Released May 2, 2006) Ironclad Records

I am not one to get into mosh pits or to hardcore dance, but the new cd by Apiray, Lost in Focus, makes me want to get physical. It makes you want to get in the pit and kick ass. This is one of the heaviest cd’s I have heard in a long time. It is pure devastation from the opening track “Pain is the Reason” to the last track “Finding a Way Back”. This cd is full of blast beats, brutal chugging guitar riffs and solos, and breakdowns that will get every scene kids stuck at a metal show dancing. Oh yeah, don’t forgot the crushing vocals that will please any metal head. The diversity of Apiary is amazing. They range from metal to hardcore to screamo all on one cd. It is amazing to have that type of vocal range. This cd is 13 tracks of annihilation. If you enjoy any form of heavy music, this cd is for you. This is their debut album for Ironclad Records (owned by Unearth front man Trevor). This cd will help them break out of the underground and into the homes of every metal head out there.
