Bullet For My Valentine -The Poison (Released Feb. 14, 2006) Trustkill Records

Bullet For My Valentine are leading the pack of bands to recently come from the UK (Lostprophets, Funeral For a Friend). Their first full length, released on Trustkill Records is a metal masterpiece. This cd shows that metal music is back, and is here to stay. With eleven new tracks (and two from their debut EP) Bullet For My Valentine show that metalcore is fading fast, and heavy metal is returning. After the "Intro", the cd rips right into the first actual song on the cd, "Her Voice Resides". Only to be followed by "4 Words (To Choke Upon) which was featured on the popular football video game "Madden 06". This cd is pure metal. Solos, breakdown, screaming, double bass, it's all there.  Do yourself a favor and stop being an elitists and pick this cd up.
