Bleeding Through are back with their 4th release "The Truth" on Trustkill Records. This is by far, the best album Bleeding Through have put out. It is the first cd with Marta playing the keyboard parts on CD. Although it is a big leap from their last effort "This is Love, This is Murderous" there is a minor problem with this cd. The keyboards are not prominent enough. If the keyboard were turned up more, this record would completely separate Bleeding Through from the metalcore scene in my opinion. It is a very diverse record. At moments it is as heavy and brutal as any metal band, and then they have "Line in the Sand" which is a slower, ballad type song. There is even an instrumental. "Kill to Believe" was a good choice as a single, as it is one of the more catchy songs on the cd. The cd also features guest vocals by Nick 13 of Tiger Army on "Dearly Demented" and Soilent Green's Ben Falgoust on the opening track, "For Love and Failing". Overall, this a a solid cd. Anyone who is into metal/metalcore/hardcore should go pick up a copy.
