Between the Buried and Me - Alaska. Released September 6, 2005 (Victory Records)

There are truly no words to describe how talented Between the Buried and Me really are. Their newest release, "Alaska" on Victory is absolutely amazing. From the driving double bass to they intricate keys. Opening with "All Bodies", a song that lasts over six minutes and leads listeners through an epic of different sounds. The album lived up to the hype, and is a great follow up to their last release, "The Silent Circus". Standout tracks to me are "Alaska", "The Endless Obsession". and "Autodidact". Almost an hour of non stop brutal metal that will make you want to move. After building a strong fan base, expect to 2006 to be a good year for Between the Buried and Me. Catch them on tour with Bleeding Through, Every Time I Die, and Haste the Day.
