Dark Light Tour-Orlando, FL

Last night was the Dark Light tour featuring Skindred, Finch, and HIM.  First off, I would just like to say I do not like Skindred.  I think the music is good, but the vocals are terrible.  During their performance I did not understand one word during the songs.  In between the songs he harassed the crowd for not getting into their stuff.  I do not blame the crowd for giving him a big "F you".  It was quite comical.  Finch got it worse though and I feel bad.  These guys come out to play and got NOTHING from the crowd.  Not once during Finch's set did one person in the crowd move.  At one point the guitarist called the crowd "jerks" and I agree with him.  The played some new songs and old one including "What it is to Burn".  My only problem with Finch who by the way were a lot heavier than I expected is that they did not play "Letters to You" which is my favorite song of theirs.  After 40 minutes of nothing, HIM came out to the biggest ovation I have ever heard.  The came right out and played "Wings of a Butterfly" and the crowd went absolutely nuts.  It was non-stop chaos for 90 minutes.  During the set Ville said next time they come back, it won't be the House of Blues, it will be the House of Love Metal.  Their performance was probably the best I have ever seen.  They worked the crowd over so well. Every song Ville had a cigarette and some beer, so if he would like to continue touring for years to come, he might want to cut down.  He admitted that though, and of course he said instead of slowing down with that, he'll just play a ballad. The show was amazing, HIM ended the night on a three song encore which ended with a the cover of Dee Dee Ramone's "Poison Heart".  Overall the night was great despite the lack of appropriate opening bands
