Kermania - Ahnenwerk

Ok, so I’m not the one that generally reviews extreme metal cd’s that we get, but we have had a bunch come in and I felt obliged to review this. Let me start off that I really enjoy black metal, but not “true” black metal. This cd is in every essence a “true:” black metal cd. The production is absolutely terrible. Everything is turned down so low it just sounds like a long, obnoxious rumble. Kermania bring absolutely nothing to the table to catch my attention. This is four tracks of bad music. There is nothing that stands out. The guitar work is generic, and the drums are dull. These guys should just go back into the forest and hang out with trolls and elves and everything else that this bad black metal band represents.
