First off can you state your name and what you do in the band?
Billy, vocals.

You just released Sunlight at Secondhand. What was the writing and recording process like for it?
Well, we released our first record for Victory last year. Most of those songs were not a good representation of the band but we had no other material to release. I feel like it lumped us into a category of bands that we don't honestly sound like. We took the summer off of touring. Finished writing an album we had been workin on for the past year and went into the studio in August to bust this shit out. Resulting in a GOOD representation of where this band wants to be.

How do you feel the band progressed since The Faithless?
Completely different band. Very pleased with what we have done and how we have progressed and matured. I would have rather we released "SaS" for a debut. But, oh well.

I saw you live a few months ago and you only played songs from Sunlight at Secondhand. What brought this about?
We aren't the same band anymore. We are not "The Faithless". Thats just not our style. Those songs were written at a different time period for this band and by different guitarists before Victory even picked us up. We had hoped our fans were open minded enough to grow with us. And honestly, I think we lost a good deal of a younger audience. We are doing what we want, and not playing "The Faithless" makes us happy and makes us want to keep touring.

How has the new material been received live?
The markets we have been playing to have been definitely split. We are not a "breakdown" or "mosh" band. So when kids come out to do their dancing or whatever and they cant, I think it confuses them? I dont know, nor do I care. I think some of the crowds we play to just aren't into the style we play now. Thats ok though. But some folks are pleased with the suprise change up and love the new stuff. We are very riff oriented and try to have song structure and create something different. But to answer the original question, we are very hit or miss, namely because of the tours we do.

How was the Bury Your Dead tour?
It was fantastic, we got a long great with all the bands. We have been friends with Ion Dissonance for awhile, but the others had not heard us before. I think we gained some fans in the bands though for sure. We stuck out a lot as an opener and playing only new material bummed some kids out. To those fans: it was not our intention to disappoint, but understand where we are coming from. Either way, we did pretty well for the package we were on.

What are your plans for the rest of the year?
We are doing a couple weeks in November by ourselves and then with A Life Once Lost. We are confirming a couple weeks in December as I type this, but can't say with who yet, and as for next year, look for us to be out on the road non stop.

Who did the artwork for Sunlight at Secondhand?
Paul Romano. Kick ass dude.

How did you guys hook up with Victory?
We had a friend who worked there who was really into our unreleased EP with did with Kurt Ballou at God City . Victory loved it and it went from there.

Memphis has quite the musical background. What is the scene like there now?
Its very hit or miss. Right now, I don't think its doing so hot. There are lots of great bands from here but as for kids coming out to shows, it was very alive, but lately kids come out to hang out and not watch the bands or they just dont care anymore. All the older folks have moved on and the ones who care obviously stick around. I think its the same for every city.

If you could play a show with any three artists, past or present, who would they be?
Ill try and answer for my whole band on this one, Pink Floyd, Neurosis, and Converge.

How would you describe a Nights Like These show to someone who hasn't seen you live?
Loud. Very Loud. Lots of riffs and gear. Marijuana smoke generators on stage and we hand out acid sheets. Its awesome...........

That's all. Any last words for the fans and readers?
Pick up our record in stores!! Thanks for reading!
