Sky Eats Airplane - Everything Perfect on the Wrong Day

Hailing from Fort Worth, Texas, Sky Eats Airplane are a two piece synth/core band that make all of your dreams come true. Well, they don’t exactly make dreams come true but they do make some great music. Blending both techno beats with metal core is something that has been done before, they just excel at it. This is one of my favorite releases of the year. The drum work on this cd is fantastic, ranging from simple to blast beats. Vocalist Brack hits both the highs and lows very well and can actually sing (more specifically in the acoustic track “She is Just a Glitch”.) Anyone who enjoys metal core or any sort of keyboard/synth driven rock should check out this release.  They have been heavily compared to HORSE the band and being Nintendocore, but the only similarities is that both bands have synths and play heavy music.  Their sound is completely different and they don't sing about Nintendo. I would list standout tracks, except they are all great. Not one bad song or lame note on this cd. Keep an eye out for new releases from them, as they are getting a new vocalist and becoming a full band. Give this a chance, you will enjoy it.
