Sonata Arctica-For the Sake of Revenge (Release Date: April 4, 2006) Nuclear Blast Records

I would have to agree with Sam on this one, in his review of Sonata Arctica's Reckoning Night, he pointed out that every band that spawns from Finland are just simply amazing. Only just recently, I had learned about Sonata Arctica, and I have been apologizing to my ears for not hearing them before then. Power metal at its best. This whole CD is recorded live, I can tell that they work the crowd extremely well. My favorite song is track 1 (Prelude for Reckoning), involving highs and lows, blasts and beats, as does the rest of the album. This band has it all, and their is no denying that. I found a comment about them that I couldn't agree more with, "Sonata Arctica is sex in the form of a rock band." This new CD is a must have. To avoid having to apologize to your ears, I would strongly suggest that "For the Sake of Revenge" is on top of your "to get list".
