See You Next Tuesday- Parasite (Ferret)
Well, I usually have a well thought out, and fairly detailed review
for all albums I review, but since this so called "full length" album is
sooo extremely short, so shall my review for it be. Considering I was so
severely looking forward for this release to come out, and was not
entirely disappointed by the content, but extremely disappointed in the
length. So here goes in describing this new album:
grind grind, screech screech, breakdown, death vokills, grind grind,
screech screech, chugga chugga breakdown, slower death vocals, sludge
breakdown, blast beat, grind grind, blast beat, attempt at producing a
somewhat melodic sounding guitar track while incorporating somewhat
slower screech screech vocals, back to grind grind, blast beat, screech
screech, death vocals...The End!!!
I'm sorry, but for a supposed full length album, this falls entirely
too short (no pun intended). The musicianship is pretty good, yet not
all that unique, and this c.d. definitely does not live up to what I
expected would happen from a band that seemed so incredibly promising
after being signed to a killer label. I sincerely might have been able
to like this a little more if there had been more content, or more
original songs...But once again, it does not. I hope for the future of
this promising band that they think thoroughly through there next album,
because I know they have a great FULL length album in them.
