This Will Be Remembered

First off, could you state your name and what you do in the band?

Testa: Testa, the blast beat master
Ben-jamin: Ben-jamin, I play bass and scream a little
Nicky Em: Nick, vocals.

Where does the name This will be Remembered come from?

Ben-jamin: We had practice one day and a good friend of ours Ben, not
me, said something about Nick Testa being remembered for being so good.
Those are his words not mine. Anyways so for some reason the words "will be
remembered" stuck in my head and eventually turned into This will be Remembered.

Your going to be recording with Erik Rutan of Hate Eternal & Morbid Angel in March. How do you feel about working with someone so well known, and when can we expect a full length album?

Testa: We are not metal enough
Nicky Em: I'm excited to record in a real studio with such a talented engineer. I'm really confident in his work and I'm really excited, yeah.
Ben-Jamin: We've been waiting for a chance to record a real EP and this
will be it. Eric has worked with so many bands its insane to think that we get to
work with him. As of the full length expect it when we're on a label.

Who has been your favorite band to play with so far?

Testa: The Absence, because they are our bros.
Ben-jamin: Besides The Absence I would have to say Across Five Aprils
even though we didn't play with them, we had them over after they played 688
and partied with them well into the morning the are just straight up awesome
dudes
Nick Em: Well I haven't played with TWBR yet but in my previous band I
would have to say Huxley.

What have been the best and worst shows for you?

Testa: Best: Horse The Band
          Worst: The Pegysus lounge
Ben-jamin: Same for both

Do you guys have any pre show rituals?

Ben-jamin: I have to poop before every show, I have to or I'll shit myself on stage.
Testa: I just chill before the show and set up my drums, *sigh*
Nicky Em: I chill by myself and stretch and warm up

Who/what are your biggest influences, musically or not?

Testa:  Musically I'd have to say Between the Buried and Me, Gnar Kill and Metallica.
Ben-jamin: Musically, Chino Moreno has always been an inspiration but
more recently its been a lot of metal, a lot. Jeremy Kling has been a big
influence too. He's helped me out a lot with this band.
Nicky Em: Musically its always been Pantera and little bit of Guns n
Roses and a little of the classical shit. But when it comes to vocals, Phil
Anselmo and Trevor for Black Dahlia and Trevor from Unearth

Have any labels shown any interest in signing TWBR?

Ben-jamin: no comment

If you could play a show with any three band, past or present, who
would they be?

Testa: Rage, Metallica, and Pantera
Ben-jamin: Lamb of God, At The Gates, and UnderOath(Cries of the Past
era)
Nicky Em: Pantera, Unearth, and The Agony Scene

What can someone who has never seen you play, expect at one of your
shows?

Testa: A bunch of fat sweaty kids thrashing

What or who influenced you to start playing an instrument?

Testa: Unlce Sal and Vinny Paul
Ben-jamin: I wanted to play guitar but there are too many of those in this
world so I played bass. My inlfuence really was being able to play.
Nicky Em: Third Grade Chorus

How would you describe your sound, and what genre would you include
TWBR in?

Testa: Brandon D. vocals with Led Zepplin
Nicky Em: A bunch of 5 year olds screaming, trying to put the square block
in the cicrle hole.
Ben-jamin: ...ditto...Harry Carry eating a hot dog. That is if he were
one.

Finally, what is your biggest goal in 2006?

Testa: To wake up one morning in a van eating pancakes while recieving
a blowjob.
Ben-jamin: Tour and to get signed, I want to see Europe and vistit BBB,
if you really have to know ask Rob or Jay from Hand to Hand about that
one.
Nicky Em: I want to tour and live in a van for months at a time and get signed and when its all done fuck Winn Dixie.
