Twisted into Form- Then Comes Affliction to Awaken the Dreamer (2006. Sensory Records)

Alright, listen up everybody. This is an extremely talented band we have here. I cannot even begin to Dissect this release. Featuring members of Spiral Architect, and Extol...you know that this is something that cannot be overlooked. First and Foremost, this has the MOST extensive and intricate guitar work that I have ever heard. I hardly have the words to explain this, but this album is so guitar driven, that you will completely disregard any instrumental album handled by the most unique guitar legend ever created. Yngwie Malmsteem, Kirk Hammet, Jimmy Hendrix...They do not even begin to compare to the exquisite guitar work being performed on this release. It is pretty hard to describe who will like this. Basically this release is simply put as a progressive metal band, a band that comes ahead of every band that is out their today. When you listen to this album, you will be completely amazed by how ridiculously ingenious the creators are. It is a crazy whirlwind of super technical guitar riffs, insane solo..s and perfection in any way! The bass and drumming work are flawless, and yet completely unrecognized because you will be in total awe of how talented and superb the fabulous Guitar musicians are. The singing here is very well thought out and professional, with the intense highs and lows of original Spiral Architect session vocalist Leif J. Knashaug. This is a singer with great talent. Every song here is consistent with the rest of the album, meaning that they are all great. But be forewarned....Not everyone will like this for it is not something that is described as a band that you would call trendy. Call this a band that might be an acquired taste, but all shall love Twisted into Form at the end...If you like Stratovarious, Rhapsody, Sonata Arctica or anything that focuses strictly on amazing guitar work than you will kill for this album...Give it a serious listen, and learn to love them!
