First off can you state your name and what you do in the band?
My name is Jeremy Sims and I play guitar.

Can you give us a little history of the band?
We started in I think it was 05 around February or March. There have been quite a few member changes and a lot of touring. We got signed to Blood & Ink Records in February of 06 and released a full length album there called Golgatha. We toured on that for a little over a year. Got signed to Victory Records in February of 07 and released our debut record for Victory yesterday, January 22nd called Horror.

You recently made the jump from Blood and Ink to Victory Records. How did that come about and what has the transition been like?
It came about in a pretty weird way. We’re friends with a band called A Day To Remember and they really like our stuff and they told us to hit up Victory Records. I got the dudes instant messenger name one day and hit him up, and said will you listen to my band. He listened, liked us, and gave us a showcase.

You released your second album, Horror yesterday. What was the writing and recording process like with this album?
The writing process was really cool. We just hung out at our bass player Dennis’ house for about a month. We just hung out and wrote non stop. The recording process was really awesome. We did it with a guy named Zuess at Planet Z Studios. He’s a really awesome dude and worked well with us. We loved it. He made everything really easy going for us.

How do you feel the band has progressed from the release of Golgotha to now?
We have all progressed musically. I think we have all gotten better at our instruments and of course we have some new members. We have a new drummer, vocalist, and bass player. I think those guys personalities and talents brought a lot to this band.

Who did the artwork for Horror?
Dave Quiggle.

How has the new material been received live so far?
It’s been going over really well. We played a few new songs in the last few months. We added a couple songs to our Myspace and everyone seems to like those a lot. Yesterday we started playing more of the new stuff and it went over really well.

Victory did not send out promos for Horror to keep it from leaking early. What are your thoughts on people downloading your music?
I don’t really mind it. As long as you buy the record too. Like if it leaks before it comes out that’s fine, but buy it and try to support the band because we don’t see a whole lot of that money. Every little bit helps.

If you could play a show with any three artists, past or present, who would they be?
Oh wow. I would really like to play with the Goo Goo Dolls. That’s my favorite band of all time. Hatebreed. I love Hatebreed. For the third, maybe someone like Iron Maiden. That would be really cool.

What are your plans for after this tour?
After this tour we go directly into another tour and keep touring. After this we go out with Carnifex and Another Breed of Killer.

Any plans to play on a festival this summer?

We’re looking at trying to do Cornerstone and trying to do Sunshine Festival. Maybe getting in on the New England Hardcore and Metal Fest. We’re looking into everything, but nothing is solidified.

What can someone who has never seen you live expect at one of your shows?
Hopefully to have a good time and lots of head banging and jumping around, having a good time overall.

What is the scene like in Albany?
We actually haven’t played there in a really long time. It’s not a huge town or a really big scene but it’s ok.

That’s all. Any last words for the fans and readers?
Check us out. If you like us, pick up a copy of our album.
